Yellow Slots is an electronic - ambient duo consisting of Kyriakos Moustakas and Dimitris Aronis. Aesthetically different from both members’ solo projects and musical background, the music of Yellow Slots is considered a shelter for ambient and minimal explorations.
Yellow Slots were formed in 2010 although the duo has been collaborating since 2006. In late 2008 they started creating musical textures inspired by the natural world and its processes, optical phenomena, as well as music and images of the 70’s, using old fashioned analog synths, piano and rhodes.
In March 2011 Yellow Slots released their first studio effort titled “Lessend” with Inhousemusic Records. This album is the heart of scattered recording sessions and experimentations that occurred the last 2 years during quiet and relaxing nights. It reflects nothing but common passions and attempts to communicate through music.
Sundayman is the artist name of composer and producer Kyriakos Moustakas. His music was first published in 1999 and from then on he
has constantly participated in numerous compilations in Greece and the US. In 2009 he released his first solo CD under the title “Outerland”.
Ignoring trends and preconceptions, Sundayman doesn’t hesitate to blend styles and genres. Being naturally attracted to ambient and chill out
atmospheres, and feeling equally comfortable with handling uplifting grooves and melodies, he’s become well-known for the exceptional warmth
and delicacy of his sound. His sonic palette includes vintage analogue synthesizers, vocals, various acoustic instruments and manipulated samples.
Sundayman, also a virtuoso in studio work, has produced albums for a number of Greek and international artists. In March 2011 he founded his own music label, Inhousemusic Records.
