Tournoi is not a band; it’s a “spur of the moment" project that is musically associated with the disco funk movement of the 70's.
It started as a spontaneous improvisation of two musician friends who decided to have some fun after a hard multi-hour session in the studio.
Trying to relieve the pressure of a difficult day, they suddenly found themselves in a joyful creative mood that was destined to become what they now call “Tournoi”. Both artists insist on their anonymity as a means to keep the project away from any expectations and protect its “spur of the moment” nature.
